Job Description

  • Set-up and manage the hotel contracting operation in the UK.
  • Actively contract hotels: cold calls and visits, follow-up leads, assist hotelier in website upload process.
  • Coordinate production and training with our global headquarters in Barcelona.
  • Analyze trends, growth potential, product gaps in the hotel industry in the UK. Design action plan for hotel contracting accordingly.
  • Manage the P&L for the UK operations. Show high positive ROI of accommodation recruited over time.
  • Deal with logistics of our UK operations - office lease, lawyer, taxation, administration, etc.
  • This position requires travelling (up to 1 week per month).

Desired Skills & Experience

We're looking for a sales superstar who is also:

 

  • Big picture, strategic thinker. Passionate about the online hotel industry.
  • MBA or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years commercial experience in the online travel industry, preferably with an OTA.
  • 2+ years in a Sales Management position.
  • Native-level English speaker.
  • Experience with hiring, training, managing teams.
  • Result & customer oriented
  • Organized, paying attention to all small details
